LOS ANGELES - June 18, 2014 - PRLog -- June 26, 2014 presents the bi-annual festivities of the Hollywood Showcase. One week from tomorrow, hundreds of selected invitees from across the country will gather at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. Since its construction in 1923, the Biltmore has stood as a symbol of the city, its rich history and reputation for fine hospitality have not dwindled into the 21st century. While the hotel has hosted US presidents, royalty and the inception of the Oscars, next Wednesday it will play home four days of seminars, socializing and of course, auditions.

Soaring through its tenth year of connecting talent and agents from across the country, Hollywood Showcase has cultivated an admirable advisory board consisting of some of Hollywood's most notable talent representatives. Bonnie Ventis from Clear Talent Group, Paul Caplan Bennett from PB Management, L.A. choreographer Tony Gonzalez and Lucciano Berninzon from 415 Industry Creative have been polishing this event for years and their faith in Hollywood Showcase is mirrored in their participation of Showcase lectures.

Acting seminars will be lead by industry professionals such as: Montre Burton, known for his breakout role in Disney's High School Musical; Scott Sedita, a prominent LA-based acting coach and motivational speaker and Casala Ltd. founder Toni Casala. First and foremost, this event is driven by education. However, as the need for education is not age-specific, seminars are also offered for adults, ie. parents of participants. This year's adult-to-adult speakers run the gauntlet from actors to child psychologists and talent agents. Additionally, the mother of Showcase success story Lyndsy Fonseca, Dr. Lima Bergmann will be returning to lead a seminar on "Support vs. Sabotage."

Showcase participants enter in a variety of categories wherein they perform for a panel of judges and talent agents in categories. Acting events include: soap opera acting, monologue, sitcom, commercial (model and actor) and modeling events consist of: fashion runway, print modeling, trendy runway. For good measure participants may also audition in the field entertainment lawyers to provide a full-circle approach to entertainment professions. The Talent Showcase offers agents and managers a chance to introduce themselves to participants in a grand finale of auditions, closed and open callbacks.

Past Hollywood Showcase participants have gone on to book work with AT&T, a Superbowl Kia commercial, Desperate Housewives, The Mindy Project on Fox, Back in the Game on ABC, Super Fun Night on ABC, Toyota commercial, Nikita, Hot Tub Time Machine, Several lifetime movies, Funny or Die, Samsung ads, An upcoming Seinfeld prequel called "Little Jerry", The Voice, American Idol, Vera Wang advertisements and fashion shows, "Haywire" with Channing Tatum, "Red Dawn" with Josh Peck and Chris Hemsworth and more. Former Chicago attendee Brooke Beckmann recently got in touch with IPAA to inform that she had signed with 1930 Model Management. No stranger to IPAA or Showcase, 1930 Model Management also represents former IPAA graduate Monique Sosnowski who can be seen in print ads at Nordstrom in Illinois from her shoot with Dom itp.
