What: Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort
(LVSSR) opens for the summer season offering activities like scenic chairlift rides, hiking, disc golf and mountain biking on the nearby Bristlecone Trail. The area will be open Friday through Sunday including The Bighorn Grill and Bristlecone Bar. Guests can enjoy lunch or drinks on the patio complete with tailgating games like cornhole and Giant Jenga.

LVSSR is also used as a high-altitude training ground for many athletes and fitness enthusiasts. A pet-friendly area, it is the ideal place to escape the city heat.

Summer Hours: Friday – Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pricing: Chairlift Rides: $10 adults, $5 children 6-12, free for children under 5
Disc Golf (includes chairlift ride, 2 discs rental, and course map): $17
Disc Golf Season Pass
(non-transferable): $50
2014/15 season pass holders ride for free, excluding special event days
