Director/Sr. Architect at AuthX Consulting to Speak About the CloudBees PaaS Platform

RICHMOND, Va. - June 18, 2014 - PRLog -- AuthX Consulting, a Digital Engagement Company, announced its newly hired Director/Sr. Architect, Jimmy Ray, will speak about the CloudBees PaaS (Platform as a Service) solution from a user perspective to a Java User Group in Richmond, VA this evening.  The event will be held at the University of Richmond, Jepson Hall at 5:30PM.

The session will focus on the process of using CloudBees PaaS integrated through WildFly as a ClickStack as well as how technologies like these change the practices employed by developers for building and deploying web applications. Since a PaaS technology is hosted in the cloud and accessed through a browser, developers can build, test and deploy applications without it requiring specialized administrative skills or the need to be maintained on a desktop environment. Ray will discuss how this cloud-based practice will foster agile development by decreasing time to market for new applications and share best practices accumulated from his 20+ years of experience serving various IT leadership roles.
