Wide eyed visitors experienced the joys of the ancient sport of falconry: working hands-on with falcons, owls and even a white tailed sea eagle, while others took a trip on Segways through the hotel’s extensive lawns.
Other visitors lined-up to experience the ancient sport of archery with the benefit of advice from on-site experts, while some tried their hands at Laser Clays, a high tech version of Clay pigeon shooting.
The exhibition also included talks and advice on the wonders of water skiing and weight boarding from Frodsham based expert Mike Walsh. Mike told visitors moving forward he was hoping to provide tuition on Nunsmere Hall’s private lake.
“This was a Corporate Showcase and a huge success,” said Steve Birchall, MD of Cheshire Falconry, who was invited to oversee the activities at the showcase by Nunsmere Hall organisers. “All our staff are highly trained and experienced and were able to guide visitors safely through the range of activities on offer.
“For us, it was a great opportunity to make people aware of the fun activities which we can provide at a host of locations and it was great to be able to showcase this at a venue like Nunsmere Hall; the feedback today suggests there is considerable demand for what we can offer.
Stephanie Clowes, the Nunsmere Hall Sales Manager described the showcase as a ‘huge success’.
She said: “We want to offer more of these activity events to our guests. We are the perfect location. We have ample space around the hotel not to mention the fact that we have our very own lake.
“Nunsmere Hall is a beautiful luxury hotel which also happens to be in a stunning location. The guests loved the activities and we are committed to offering them more in the future.”
