About the singer: Born and raised in Haiti, Abner Gelin’s love for music began at a very young age. At just 12-years-old, he wrote his first song and served as the choir director for his local youth choir. As he continued performing live, he quickly made a name for himself, performing in churches and worship centers all across the country. After high school, Gelin moved to Florida to attend college, later earning an associate’s degree in music and media production. He released his first album in 1998—and has no plans to stop performing. He is happily married and a proud father.
