PRLog - Jun. 17, 2014 - LOS ANGELES -- LOS ANGELES, June 17, 2014 – To better serve the needs of modern actors, AdlerImprov (#adlerimprov) moved its classes to a fully equipped production studio at 1253 N. Vine Street in Los Angeles (x-apple-data-detectors://4), Cal. AdlerImprov teaches improvisation for actors (#actors), not caricatures, and its training is particularly helpful for television and film actors.

All AdlerImprov classes, including improvisation (#improv), on camera scene study (#scenestudy), audition prep (#auditionprep) and coaching, are now taught on a small soundstage with a green screen (#greenscreen) to provide practical, real world training. In addition to pushing actors to truly imagine their given circumstances and the world around them, the green screen allows students to film their scene work, add a background and use the footage.

"The modern actor has very little preparation time and increasingly sets, props even other characters are added in post production," said Rob Adler, the creator of AdlerImprov. "The improvisation we teach helps actors remain focused through the chaotic atmosphere and distractions on set. Also, using a real studio for our classes provides a 'dress rehearsal' effect, so actors can be relaxed and comfortable when they show up on set or for an audition."

AdlerImprov's new training space is centrally located right off the freeway, with plenty of parking, right across the street from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

"Many acting classes are held in small rooms or theaters," added Adler. “Our new space is unlike any other training ground in Hollywood also because casting directors actively use it, so our actors receive real world preparation in a professional film and television environment.”

AdlerImprov will also expand its geographical reach by conducting a weeklong workshop for television actors in Tokyo, Japan, June 16th through June 20th, 2014. This adds to Adler’s existing international exposure. In December 2013, he taught a master class on strategies for enhancing your acting career at the Bahamas International Film Festival with workshops in Vancouver and Johannesburg scheduled for the coming months.

Adler also conducts online coaching sessions and frequently works with actors currently filming television shows and movies in Toronto and Chicago.
