All AdlerImprov classes, including improvisation (#improv), on camera scene study (#scenestudy)
"The modern actor has very little preparation time and increasingly sets, props even other characters are added in post production,"
AdlerImprov's new training space is centrally located right off the freeway, with plenty of parking, right across the street from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
"Many acting classes are held in small rooms or theaters," added Adler. “Our new space is unlike any other training ground in Hollywood also because casting directors actively use it, so our actors receive real world preparation in a professional film and television environment.”
AdlerImprov will also expand its geographical reach by conducting a weeklong workshop for television actors in Tokyo, Japan, June 16th through June 20th, 2014. This adds to Adler’s existing international exposure. In December 2013, he taught a master class on strategies for enhancing your acting career at the Bahamas International Film Festival with workshops in Vancouver and Johannesburg scheduled for the coming months.
Adler also conducts online coaching sessions and frequently works with actors currently filming television shows and movies in Toronto and Chicago.
AdlerImprov helps actors get out of their head in scripted scenes for film and television. Actors learn to improvise emotion, develop spontaneous subtext and live truthfully from moment to moment in the imaginary world of television and film scripts.
