Clearpath App created to assist Dermatology Residents in Studying for Board Exams

DAYTON, Ohio - June 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Dermatopathology Laboratory of Central States (DLCS), an anatomic pathology and molecular diagnostics laboratory, has created the Clearpath iPad app which serves as a comprehensive dermatopathology reference tool. This free app offers an expansive database of slide images, simulated board exams and a state of the art microscope viewer.

The app was launched in 2012 and currently has 1,800 users. “I have been using the app to study for the board exam and it has made a huge difference,” said Dr. Joshua Grosshandler, Dermatology Resident at Wright State University. “The atlas section covers board-relevant diagnoses clearly and concisely. The test module then allows me to review those diagnoses in a board-simulated environment, which is extremely valuable. I’d recommend Clearpath to all dermatology residents that are studying for board exams.”
