PRLog - June 17, 2014 - DAYTON, Ohio -- Dermatopathology Laboratory of Central States (DLCS), an anatomic pathology and molecular diagnostics laboratory, has created the Clearpath iPad app which serves as a comprehensive dermatopathology reference tool. This free app offers an expansive database of slide images, simulated board exams and a state of the art microscope viewer.
The app was launched in 2012 and currently has 1,800 users. “I have been using the app to study for the board exam and it has made a huge difference,”
“We are truly excited about this app and what it offers dermatology residents or even clinicians that read their own cases,” said Dr. Joel Crockett, dermatologist and creator of the Clearpath app. “Clearpath provides easy access to 40x whole slide images that cover the entire spectrum of diagnoses in dermatology – from very common to extremely rare. When paired with the dynamic image atlas, Clearpath becomes a powerful, unique, and extremely convenient study tool.”
