Small Business Class Returning to Cape Coral

Applications being accepted for Goodwill MicroEnterprise program
 
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - June 17, 2014 - PRLog -- The Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute is seeking entrepreneurs for its next Cape Coral class, to be held at the Public Works Building (815 Nicholas Parkway East, Cape Coral) starting June 30.

The Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute is a training program to help emerging entrepreneurs start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a business and management training course and work with mentors who are successful businesspersons.

“We look at the feasibility of participants’ business ideas,” says Dorothy Browning, program manager of The Goodwill SWFL MicroEnterprise Institute. “We guide them through the start-up process. This program creates opportunities for people.”

Classes will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings (with the exception of Wednesday, July 2) from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and will cover everything from accounting to marketing, insurance to funding. After the completion of the course, eligible participants may apply for a microloan collateral guarantee from Goodwill. Graduation will be Monday, August 4 at 6:30 p.m.
