The next course will take place next week from Monday 23rd to Saturday 28th June.
Led primarily by Liam Hastings, joint owner and director of AGK9 Training, this security training course provides participants with the British standard and industry recognised entry level qualification to become a Security Dog Handler in the UK.
NTIPDU and EDI (ASET) accredited, this 6 day course ensures trainees gain the skills, knowledge and understanding required to work with a trained security dog. Based upon three training modules - to include handler responsibilities, handling skills and communication techniques - it is beneficial for trainees to be SIA Licensed and have previous experience as a Security Officer.
The company - aiming to increase professionalism within the UK's security industry - pledge that their Level 2 Award General Purpose Security Dog Handling course will not only give participants a professional qualification, they will also be confident in their own knowledge and ability to work with a trained security dog.
Liam, who is also the senior trainer at AGK9 Training, says "We provide a one-day Introduction Course to assure the suitability of each trainee [and] all of our courses are dedicated to a small group to ensure the best possible training is provided."
