Everyonehas a line – mine is implants – but augmented reality contact lenses? Sign me up. RFID chips in my hand? GET THAT NEEDLE AWAY FROM ME. Still it only takes one use to change our minds.

In 50 years’ time, we’ll part-robo kids how, in 2014, wearable tech went mainstream. How they’ll chuckle, before kicking our hoverchairs back to the napping pods where we belong.
