- Jun. 16, 2014 - DALLAS -- Here's what makes Dr. Clef so great!
There are 2 modes of play for Dr.Clef
; Portrait Mode
and Landscape Mode
. Portrait Mode
is just like traditional sheet music, but Dr. Clef
is listening and standing by to mark incorrect notes on the page as they happen. The app will even listen for you to reach the end of the page so it can turn to the next page for you. Portrait Mode
is similar to traditional sheet music, but Landscape Mode
is more of a gamer style where the notes stream across the page from the right. Each time a note is played the app sends the notes forward for the user. There are 7 different challenging levels, from beginner to surgeon. Users love the challenge of beating their friends and Dr. Clef
gives them the ability to do just that! This app not only provides the sheet music, it lets the user know if they're playing the song correctly. With Most schools across the country going digital. It just makes sense to keep all their sheet music and assigned music on their tablets too.
"One of my favorite aspects is the game feel. Music lessons can be a bore to some and practice just adds to their boredom. When given another means of practice, one that feels like a game, focus shifts to the new goal. Kids (young and old) love to share their success with friends and family." explains the app's inventor Billy Franklin.Dr. Clef's
founder goes on to say, "If this had been available when I was a kid, I know without a doubt, that I would have kept taking piano classes just so I could beat my friend's scores and be the best".Dr. Clef
, will reform the way music is learned and taught to all age groups .
