The Nerds in Hell podcast duo, approaching their 100th episode, relaunched their website today with a more user friendly design, and faster access to not only podcast episodes, but news stories, reviews, and blog posts. The relaunch coincides with a new season of celebrity interviews. The civilian podcast, known for their unprecedented access to celebrities, plans to provide more interviews with celebrities, with questions submitted by the fans. Last year they interviewed the cast and creator of TV's Bob's Burgers, and the hosts of TBS's King of the Nerds. Interviews this year will kick off with celebrity voice actor, George Lowe, known for lending his voice to Cartoon Network's Space Ghost Coast to Coast. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the hit series, and the podcast hosts intend to provide long time fans of the show with behind the scenes info, production stories, and little known facts from the star himself.
Nerds in Hell recently launched a contest where they are accepting submissions from their listeners and Space Ghost fans through twitter to have voice actor George Lowe read the best submissions in his iconic voice. The contest ends on July 1st, 2014.
Later this year, the Nerds in Hell team will be reporting live from New York Comic Con. Providing celebrity interviews, product launch news, and information on upcoming television shows and movies. In addition to reporting from the convention, the podcast does several weekly wrap up posts and podcast episodes of television shows.
Nerds in Hell blends their own style of pop culture reporting with close listener interaction to provide fans of the show with the information they want to know from their favorite celebrities.
