PRLog -- It’s almost that time of the year where the sun is shining so bright and all you can think about is the beach. Yep, summer is just around the corner. And because summer is fast approaching, we decided to create a list of our favorite styles and trends for this year’s hottest season. First on our list is a piece that every girl should have in their closet. This summer must-have is, drum roll please… a pair of shorts! Ranging from a wide selection of colors, shapes and sizes, shorts are fashion favorites that will never go out of style. Shorts create curves and give an illusion of longer legs making it super fun and flattering. So, which style is our favorite this summer? While we feel that destroyed shorts are so last year, we can’t help but notice that this much-loved trend will last for a very long time. High-waisted shorts on the other hand are also really hot this summer. It is very stylish and it gives an impression of a flatter stomach. For all you ladies out there that do not want to show too much skin, consider wearing shorts that fall just above-the-knee. It gives you coverage while still showing just enough leg. Who said conservative can’t be fun and stylish? Crop tops are our next summer favorite. It is so light weight making it perfect for a hot summer day or night. What else is it great for besides it being so easy to wear? Well it’s great for showing off those toned abs of course. You worked so hard to get it and even harder to maintain it so you deserve to show it off. Loose crop tops are usually worn with a bandeau or a string bikini underneath for a beach feel. Bustier crop tops on the other hand paired with high-waisted shorts equals chic and flirty. Substitute the high-waisted shorts with a high-waisted skirt for a great night out ensemble. Next on our list are espadrilles. I mean, who doesn’t love them right? They are so comfy and they look good on anyone! Flat espadrilles are perfect for a causal, laid back, day out with friends. If you’re going for a girly look, go for the wedged espadrilles. They will make your legs head turners while toning them as you walk. Win-win!
Summer is full of color, but one color surprisingly raises the bar. White is the new black. It is exceptionally chic all year round but especially in summer. From nail polish, accessories, dresses, shoes, and bottoms, nothing says summer like a fresh all-white outfit. Don’t you just hate it when your hair gets in your face when you go to the beach? The solution is our favorite hair styles for summer – braids. Braids are so fun and versatile. They look super cute on both long and short hair. We think the best one thus far is the side braid. It gives your hair a little umph so you can put that regular pony tail to rest. Try out different styles and see which one looks good with your outfit. Last but not the least on our favorites list, are the chevron prints. Chevron prints are popular on dresses, beach bags, and tops. While they might be a bit too busy for some, this somewhat tribal pattern creates a more feminine beachy look. We think summer is the most enjoyable time of the year.
