Follow on Google News | From Music in the Canyon to Fun in the Streets, Plenty to Do in Fort Payne June 21By: DeKalb Tourism From 3 to 9 p.m. at the Little River Canyon Center’s new Canyon Concert outdoor stage, the Little River Canyon will serve as the backdrop to some of the best bluegrass music. Hosted by “The Fiddle Man” Tim Watson, Bluegrass on the Rim features an incredible line-up of bluegrass talent from around the country. Hailing from Black Creek Alabama, Watson has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and in venues in Germany, Switzerland, France, England, Ireland, Bahamas, Mexico, Holland and beyond. He has opened shows for superstars such as George Strait, Ricky Skaggs, Keith Urban, Conway Twitty, George Jones, the Judd’s and K.T. Oslin just to name a few. In addition to live performances, Watson has been seen on television shows including the “Ralph Emery Show,” “Crook and Chase,” “Hee Haw,” “Nashville Now,” “CBS This Morning,” “Good Morning America,” “The Today Show,” and more. He had the #1 show at the Opryland Show park for over five years and currently has the #1 show in Nashville aboard the General Jackson Showboat. For more information, visit www.thefiddleman.com. Enjoy live music, a car show, children’s activities, plenty of food and other activities while strolling along the blocked off streets of downtown Fort Payne.
