The 2014 Best Places to Work recognition comes on the heels of G-Force’s 2014 Pacesetter award from the Boston Business Journal as one of Massachusetts’
G-Force Shipping was named the 5th Best Place to Work in Massachusetts out of over 400 companies who qualified for Best Places to Work consideration based on a two-stage nomination process and the results of employee-satisfaction surveys taken throughout the spring.
“It is a great honor to be recognized as one of the top 5 Best Places to Work in the entire state by a source as respected as the Boston Business Journal,” said G-Force CEO, Scott Guilbeault. “Creating a premiere employee-friendly work environment has been a core company value since inception and all of the success and rapid expansion G-Force has seen in recent years is solely due to the hard work each and every employee puts in every day.”
Due to G-Force’s hyper growth and unrelenting commitment to providing a premier employee-friendly workplace environment, the company recently relocated to a 17,500 square foot location at Heritage Landing in Quincy.
In addition to this year’s Best Places to Work, G-Force has been recognized with several other prestigious workplace awards including “Best Place to Work” by Best in Biz 2013 International and “Nations Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by 101 Best and Brightest.
The Best Places to Work survey project determining winners was launched in January by the Boston Business Journal in conjunction with market research firm Quantum Workplace of Omaha, NE. Companies were evaluated on the results of more than 18,000 employee-satisfaction surveys. Employees answered questionnaires that addressed such factors as their pride in the company, company encouragement, support and recognition of achievement and relationships with co-workers and supervisors. The results were analyzed and scored by assigning points to each question.
60 companies total … the top 20 companies in three size categories were awarded during a lively cocktail reception on June 12th at the iconic CitiCenter /Wang Theatre and profiled in a special supplement of the Boston Business Journal on June 13th.
