DALLAS - June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Christian Association of Nigerian-Americans (CANAN) the leading voice of Nigerian-American Christians and their immigrant communities within and outside the USA organizes a rally to continue to sustain international attention concerning the fate of over 200 girls kidnapped by Boko Haram in Nigeria for nearly 2 months now. It our objective to support the cause of social justice worldwide. Therefore, the rally organized by The Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of CANAN is part of a national campaign organized by our chapters across the USA. Hence, the invitation join our rally on Sunday June 15, 2014.  The rally will hold at Vandergriff Park, 542 Central Park Drive, Arlington TX, 76014 starting from 4PM Central Standard Time after all-night vigil hosted by the Prophet (Dr) S. K. Abiara, the General Evangelist of The Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide on Friday night in Grand Prairie. Christian and community leaders and eminent politicians will register their support with speeches that addresses the seriousness and urgency of the need to bring the end of suffering for these young girls. The rally will review the efforts of the American in support of the efforts to locate and release the kidnapped girls. We will also consider the report of recent appearances before the US Congress sponsored by CANAN and other groups, including the recommendations of the American Congress. The rally will learn about the efforts of CANAN Board of Trustees Chairman, Pastor James Fadele, and Senator Mike Lee at a recent US Congress event in Washington DC with respect to the campaign to bring the kidnapped girls back home.  CANAN invites all sympathizers with this cause to become to be persistent advocates for the support of the United States of America, and other international nations determined to locate, and to secure the freedom of the kidnapped girls, in collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria. The campaign needs all the help available to keep pressure on every agency that can help bring our girls back home. CANAN has set up the Relief Fund for Victims of Terrorism in Nigeria, and will appreciate your financial support for the campaign.
