Longtime Durham Attorney Graduates from Freemasonry College

Bill Faison completes Masonic leadership training in North Carolina

PRLog - Jun. 12, 2014 - DURHAM, N.C. -- Bill Faison of Bill Faison Attorney, PLLC, graduated May 3 from Wilkerson College, North Carolina’s College of Freemasonry. Wilkerson College equips Masons with the necessary tools to be effective leaders in their lodges and communities. The school’s curriculum goes beyond the origins and traditions of Freemasonry to practical subjects such as budgeting, lodge operations and membership services.

"The leadership training provided through Wilkerson College is very beneficial to the future of Masonry,” Faison said. “I can certainly see the positive impact the teaching has had on our communities, our charities, our masons and their families through the leaders produced by it.”

Wilkerson College’s curriculum consists of three sessions held in Greensboro, Oxford and Raleigh. Admission is limited to 36 students each year, and priority is given to lodge deacons. There are now more than 200 graduates of Wilkerson College in North Carolina. The state hosts a total of 43,000 masons and 371 lodges.

Faison serves as senior deacon of Eagle Lodge No. 19 in Hillsborough and is a single father of six children, three of whom are currently in college.
