CHAMPS is looking for exhibitors to assist in promoting Men's Health and Wellness and Prostate Cancer Awareness.
By: Community Health and Men's Promotion Summit The 2014 CHAMPS Health Fair event will be held on September 20, 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center from 10 am to 3 pm in Building C (Rooms C111-C114). CHAMPS is a collaborative project with a consortium of private and public entities interested in addressing men's health concerns by raising awareness of the importance of early detection and disease treatment. These include the Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority, QDX Pathology, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Emory Healthcare, Georgia Prostate Cancer Coalition, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Midtown Urology, Midtown Urology Health & Education Foundation, and many more. Currently, the Community Health and Men's Promotion Summit is looking for volunteer screeners in the areas of taking individual’s blood pressure, drawing blood, checking for sickle cell sickle cell anemia, as well as dentists, ophthalmologists, psychiatrists, radiologists, oncologists, chiropractors, podiatrists, and primary care physicians. CHAMPS relies on the continued commitment of volunteers like you to continue the full circle of providing free screenings to those in need.
