Colonial Courtyard at Bedford hosts a ‘Day at the Beach’

BEDFORD, Pa. - June 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Colonial Courtyard at Bedford, a senior living community located at 220 Donahue Manor Road, will bring the beach to Bedford to kick off a Father’s Day weekend celebration.

    The Day at the Beach begins on Friday with an 11:30 a.m. “mind and memory” trivia game entitled Sea & Sand Mind Joggers. At 1:30 p.m., there will be Beach Tunes with Paul Stephenson. At 2:30 p.m., residents will participate in making sand art.

    The Celebration of Men will be held on Saturday with Father of Magic Phil Crosson performing at 1:30 p.m.

    Crosson is a nationally known magician who has performed on both the West and East coasts of the United States. He currently serves the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey as well as making appearances in Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C.

    He recently produced a successful holiday magic show “100 Miles Off Broadway” at the ClazMagic Theater in Scranton. Crosson regularly performs 350 shows a year.
