ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - June 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Skid Row has been bringing the rock for nearly thirty years now, partnering with Kill Devil Hill and Loveblast to offer Chicagoans some of the best in hard rock music on Saturday, July 12th at H.O.M.E. in Arlington Heights. Tickets start at just $10, with doors opening at 8:00 p.m.

A group of kids from New Jersey with a fusion of punk rock and metal attitude, Skid Row was determined to conquer the world. After earning top ten singles, a number one position on the Billboard album chart, multi-platinum selling albums, and more, they found themselves fighting more and more until their breakup after their 1996 South American tour.

After a short break, though, the band reunited in 2000, opening for one of the bands that inspired them to become musicians in the first place: KISS. Skid Row discovered that their passion for rock and roll had never died.

Bassist Rachel Bolan explained, “When we put the band back together, we needed to reintroduce Skid Row as relevant without relying too much on past success. We wrote songs and hit the road. We sunk our heart and soul into it, letting people know we weren't doing it for lack of something better to do.”

Joining Skid Row on their tour are Kill Devil Hill—featuring Rex Brown of Pantera—and Loveblast, completing a trio of rock bands that sound eager to give concert goers one wild night.

In addition to playing host to musical acts like Skid Row, the House of Music and Entertainment is an all-purpose entertainment venue that features a fully stocked bar loaded with a variety of craft beers as well as an incredible lunch and dinner menu. HOME is also open for bookings for private parties and have table reservations for convenience.

For more information on the concert, the bands, or food and drink specials the night of the event, readers have been asked to contact the box office at the House of Music and Entertainment.
