Humanoids appearing at Birmingham’s International Comic Expo (ICE)

SOHO, U.K. - June 11, 2014 - PRLog -- International graphic novel publisher, Humanoids, Inc. will be making their second UK comic convention appearance at the inaugural ICE show in Birmingham on Saturday, 2 August 2014.

There will be an opportunity for old and new fans alike to pick up classic titles like The Incal by Alexandro Jodorowsky & Mœbius, The Metabarons by Jodorowsky & Juan Gimenez, and Pierre Gabus and Romuald Reutimann’s award-winning District 14 titles; along with all the very latest releases, including: Final Incal by Jodorowsky, Ladrönn & Mœbius, Jerry Frissen and Bill’s Unfabulous Five, and The White Lama by Jodorowsky and Georges Bess.

Plus, there’s chance to buy August’s new releases before they hit the shops: the contemporary Heart of Darkness epic, El Niño, by Christian Perrissin and Boro Pavlovic, and Sci-Fi/Horror Blockbuster, Sanctum,by Xavier Dorison and Christophe Bec.

Humanoids’ UK liaison, Tim Pilcher will also be taking part in Comics Uncovered, the show’s sister event that focuses on the comics industry aimed at professionals and aspiring professionals. Pilcher will be discussing the role of editors in the industry, whether they are friend or foe, and stating the case for it as a sensible career move.
