PRLog - June 10, 2014 - RALEIGH, N.C. -- Raleigh-based Zig Zibit has decided to move forward with an expansion of its facilities in response to strong sales and a need for additional storage capacity in its main production facility. Zig Zibit has signed the lease on a new 15,000 square foot storage facility that will allow more of the current space to be used for production purposes.
The new space will be used for the storage of Zig Zibit clients’ properties. The move will allow more room in the main facility’s 30,000 square feet of space to support the growth of custom exhibits. The freed-up space also allows for a dedicated rental display area as well as additional room for production line operations to handle the increase in custom store displays.
“The products we produce simply require a great deal of space," says Zig Zibit Founder and President Jake Merzigian. "By moving our warehousing to this new facility, we are able to be more efficient with our existing properties and have the necessary room to build and set up the large properties we produce. We look forward to continuing our growth curve, offering quality exhibit solutions to new and existing clients, and requiring expansion again soon.”
In addition to the new storage facility, Zig Zibit has added staff to its design department and finish fabrication team. The business development team has also expanded, adding a dedicated salesperson in Charlotte.
