The primary focus of this release was fashioned around the new state-driven initiative that requires faculty and staff of public schools to perform basic life support drills on a monthly basis during the normal school year. This initiative also included new graduation requirements for existing students seeking both standard and advanced diplomas within Virginia Public Schools, requiring them by the year 2017 to be trained in emergency first aid, CPR, and the use of AEDs.
Licensed Training Providers (LTP), businesses, individuals and volunteer organizations may also use the newly updated capabilities of AIMS as an advanced training tool. These capabilities are designed specifically to keep learners fully engaged, while saving costly time and resources on additional personnel.
