“The Happening List” Blue Carpet Bash!

WILMINGTON, Del. - June 10, 2014 - PRLog -- What's Happening? North DelaWHERE Happening is rolling out the big BLUE carpet on Thursday, June 12th from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at Ed Oliver’s Golf Club, nestled in the heart of Westover Hills, one of Wilmington’s oldest and swankiest neighborhoods. Here, "The Most Happening" people of New Castle County, North Delaware, will gather to celebrate a plethora of LOCAL successes.

From Smyrna to Claymont, Hockessin to Delaware City, and all points in between, thousands of LOCAL North Delaware businesses, people, places, events and organizations were nominated for the 2014 Happening List awards. Voting completed February 28^th and all Winners, Finalists and Nominees were officially announced by March 15^th.

New and centric to North Delaware, The Happening List (http://northdelawhere.happeningmag.com/happeninglist/) contest featured 11 primary groups and nearly 200 localized people's choice categories. Groups included Beauty & Wellness, Everything North DelaWHERE, Food & Drink, Home, Kids, People, Pets, Places, Retail, Services and Wedding.   All the usual categories were listed like “Burger”, “Brunch”, “Dance Studio”, ”Hair Salon”, “Golf Course”, etc.,  with a few unique categories to New Castle County(North Delaware) such as "Crabs", “Beach”, “Best Place to Work” and “Famous North Delawarean” PLUS the must haves that connect fans and show a sign of the digital times like “Twitter Personality", "Blogger" and “WiFi Spot”. And those not to miss - the most intriguing and borderline impish categories like “People Watching”, “Bang for your Buck” and “Best Kept Secret”.
