13-year Old Fashion Wunderkind To Share Her Retail Success With Tweens/teens

June 9, 2014 - PRLog -- New York, NY June 9, 2014: Every summer, hundreds of tweens and teens flock to FashionCampNYC (http://fashioncampnyc.com/) to learn about how to build a career in fashion retail. This summer, they'll hear from someone close to their own age who has already sold into a major department store chain.

Thirteen year old Isabella Rose Taylor will be leading two sessions on July 18th and July 21st at the camp (which offers four unique sessions), inspiring campers to channel their passions. She’ll share her stories, lessons learned, and advice about the world of retail fashion.

Says Taylor, “I’m thrilled I’ll have a chance to inspire fashion lovers like me – and hopefully their clothes will be on the racks and shelves next summer!”

In addition to Taylor, campers will engage with fashion brand leaders, including experts in journalism, marketing, and technology. Among them are creative innovators Jon Harari and Mike Niemtzow, whose company WindowsWear is a virtual catalog of display windows from some of the world’s most celebrated retailers, including Bergdorf Goodman and Harrods.

Other speakers this summer represent brands such as Coach, StyleHaul, Allison Brod PR, and Damsels in Design. Campers will also venture beyond the classrooms at LIM College to take a private tour of the brand new Charles James: Beyond Fashion (http://www.metmuseum.org/about-the-museum/press-room/exhi...) exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. They also will visit showrooms and factories.
