Fishing Tournament to Benefit Local Cancer Patients

 
SALISBURY, Md. - June 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Help cancer patients in our community by joining 21st Century C.A.R.E. at the fifth annual Castaway Cancer Fishing Tournament. The full day of fishing will be held on Saturday, June 28 and weigh in will be at 5:00 p.m. at the Nanticoke Harbor, Nanticoke Md. All fish caught must be of legal size and abide by the Maryland state rules.

Registration for the tournament is open until Friday, June 27. The entry fee is $125 per boat with up to four people and $25 fee each additional person. To register, call Jennifer at 443-235-7939 or register at any of the following sponsor locations:

Fifty percent of all entry fees will benefit cancer patients through the 21st Century C.A.R.E Foundation and the remaining fifty percent will be given out as prize money.

21st Century C.A.R.E. is a nonprofit charitable foundation dedicated to helping cancer patients through financial assistance, research, cancer education and cancer screenings.

About the 21st Century C.A.R.E. Foundation:

Started in 1996, the mission of this nonprofit charitable foundation is to provide financial aid to cancer patients in need, and provide cancer education at the community level to patients, care providers and the general public.
