Louisville Orthopedic Stacie Grossfeld Offers Independent Medical Examinations and Record Reviews

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - June 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Louisville orthopedic surgeon Dr. Stacie Grossfeld recently delivered a talk to attendees at the 23^rd Annual Workers Compensation Seminar on June 5 and 6, 2014, in Louisville, Kentucky.  The program was approved by the Kentucky Bar Association and participants received a total of 12 hours of CLE credits including 2 hours for Ethics training.

The worker’s compensation seminar, organized and moderated by Louisville Attorney Ched Jennings, took place at the historic Galt House Hotel & Suites, and included a special kick off dinner on Thursday June 5, 2014, at Rivue restaurant.

The 2014 Workers Comp seminar attendees included workers comp attorneys, judges, case managers for workers comp, labor leaders, claims adjusters, and others involved in this specialty.

Dr. Grossfeld’s presentation covered a range of issues related to common shoulder injuries and workers comp. Key topics covered included rotator cuff injuries, rotator cuff tear, labral tear, other shoulder injuries, worker’s compensation issues, Independent Medical Examinations (IME), medical record reviews, Partial Permanent Impairment rating or “PPI” and Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI).

As an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, one of Dr. Grossfeld’s areas of expertise includes more than a decade of experience doing Independent Medical Examinations or IMEs and record reviews.  This includes Independent Medical Examinations or IMEs and medical record reviews requested as the result of a work-related accident, car accident, or some other type of accident-related injury.
