PRLog - Jun. 8, 2014 - AMMAN, Jordan -- Emerging Markets Payments (EMP) officially introduces Mr. Cardy to Jordan.  Mr. Cardy has already made two unofficial appearances, when he took part in the Dead 2 Red Marathon and the King Hussein Cancer Foundation Football Tournament earlier in the year.  From today, he will be seen much more frequently as he helps EMP raise awareness of the benefits and ease of paying using electronic cards.

“There is huge potential to grow card usage in Jordan, so EMP is constantly looking for creative ways to engage with cardholders in order to raise awareness and understanding of this important tool,” said Hassan Mayassi, CEO of EMP Jordan.  “We believe that Mr. Cardy will help us get our message across to more people.  Mr. Cardy is instantly recognizable and we hope that when people see him they will be reminded that using a payment card means secure, reliable and fast payments.”

Starting today, Mr. Cardy will be making guest appearances at shopping malls, universities, and other places across the country.  His image will also start appearing wherever payments can be made by payment cards to encourage cardholders to use their cards for payments through EMP’s POS terminals across Jordan.
