There are a lot of people that use hypnotherapy to provide extra help in the process of quitting smoking. The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) is the UK regulator for complementary therapists that was set up with government financial and official support.
Dr Keith Hearne of the of the prestigious European College of Hypnotherapy says: “Hypnotherapy is often used to aid clients achieve the behavioural change needed to stop smoking but it’s so critical the public use someone who knows what they are doing.”
Dr. Hearne added that: “Hypnotherapy is one of 14 therapies registered by the CNHC. There are over five thousand practitioners on the register and members of the public can search the CNHC register to find licensed practitioners in their local area. More than 170,000 searches have been carried out since the register first opened in 2009.”
The European College of Hypnotherapy through Dr Keith Hearne is offering a smoking addiction hypnotherapy programme throughout the year.
