Yakitori Boy Sake & Food Pairing Event

PHILADELPHIA - June 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Join us for an expertly curated culinary experience & sake pairing at Yakitori Boy, 211 N. 11th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, June 11th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Featuring a variety of sake hand selected from all over Japan.  As you taste sake like, the rare Yuzu Omoi Tokubestu, “Yuzu Dream”, filling your taste buds with the refreshing aroma of citrus fruits, yuzu oranges and indulging in the soft acidity that encompasses the sweetness of the fruit,  you will bite into a roll of lobster claw, fresh mango and flying fish row. This event will leave your taste buds wanting more.

 The event will consist of 4 courses and expert knowledge from Heather Lee, who will explain all that you need to know about the sake selection of the night.  Bar Manager, Carlos Orellana has selected a whole new specialty sake menu for Yakitori Boy, which the sake tasting selection was pulled from. Sake, an alcoholic beverage of Japanese origin similar to wine made from fermented rice, originated in Japan somewhere around 712 AD. Sake can have many flavor notes such as fruits, flowers, herbs, and spices. Like wine, different sake pairs well with different dishes.

Sake expert Heather Lee will be on hand to answer any questions and introduce and explain the other delicious sake and food combinations available.
