Breezemont Day Camp to Sponsor New Castle Concert Series

June 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Armonk, NY June 6, 2014: Breezemont Day Camp will be the 2014 title sponsor of the Summer Concert Series, to be produced by the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce and the Recreation and Parks Department. The concerts will be held on July 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd, and 30^th and have traditionally been a popular gathering place for community members and families from neighboring towns.

Says Gordon Josey, one of the new directors of Breezemont, “This seemed like the perfect fit for us. We’re always looking for ways for kids to enjoy new experiences with their moms, dads, siblings, and other family members and friends. Singing and dancing together shouldn’t be reserved for family functions such as weddings and religious celebrations…they should happen all summer long!” Prior to the concert, Breezemont will be providing treats and activities and personally connecting to community members. “It’s the perfect way to meet our new neighbors,” says Josey, who has also been involved in many local charitable and sports events.

Each week will bring a different musical style to downtown Chappaqua. On July 9^th, local “garage” bands will perform, headlined by Natterjack Toad.  On July 16^th the Chappaqua Orchestra will take the stage. Don Dupont Big Band will be performing  on July 23^rd. To close-out the spectacular summer concert series, Tramps Like Us, the beloved Springsteen cover band, will take the stage on July 30^th.

Solveig McShea, Executive Director of the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce and a mother of two asserts, “We’re thrilled that Breezemont signed on for the title sponsorship this year. It enables us to bring great quality music to the community. Plus, it gives the community something fun to do on Wednesday nights in July!”
