June 6, 2014 - PRLog -- (Bay Shore, NY) – Have any gently used or new merchandise that you are trying to get rid of? On Saturday, June 21, Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Inc. (http://www.adrcinc.org/) (ADRC) will be hosting a Parking Lot Sale at their Bay Shore location, located at 45 Park Avenue from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  to raise money for ADRC programs and The Neuwirth Family Care Center.

If you are interested in contributing to the Parking Lot Sale, please bring any merchandise you would like to donate to ADRC during the week of June 9th and June 16th between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The programs that the Parking Lot Sale will benefit focus on helping those who struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease and their unpaid caregivers, such as exercise classes, art expression programs, and cooking classes. The Neuwirth Family Care Center is a place that offers classrooms, a research library, and an Adult Daycare Program focused on individuals with Young Onset and Early Alzheimer’s Disease. Both, ADRC and The Neuwirth Family Care Center help those who have Alzheimer’s Disease and their unpaid caregivers by offering a helping hand.

“We are excited for this sale because it is a brand new way to raise money for the many programs and services we offer to people with Alzheimer’s Disease and their unpaid caregivers,” says Mary Ann Malack-Ragona, Executive Director/CEO, Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Inc. “Locals can purchase items that they really need while giving money to a great cause.”
