Tom Petty Tickets for Fenway Park

BOSTON - June 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Legendary rock band, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, will likely sell out Fenway Park and countless other venues today when their tickets go on sale to the general public.  A long awaited tour is finally on the way in addition to a new album, Hypnotic Eyes.

The band, accompanied by Steve Winwood), will make a pass into Boston on their tour this summer, making a prominent stop at Boston's Fenway Park.  The TD Garden is undergoing renovations and have scheduled much fewer summer concerts than in past years.  The result is that other venues such as the Comcast Center, Verizon Wireless Arena (Manchester, NH), Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium have seen an increase in concerts this summer.

The Tom Petty concert will be the fourth concert at Fenway this summer.  Currently, Zac Brown Band will perform two shows and Billy Joel will perform one show, all in June.  There are no concerts scheduled in July at Fenway Park and there are additional dates in August that have potential to accommodate concerts.
