A Must-Read if you are Planning to Get MSP Certification

Taking the training and the certification of the courses like ITIL, MOR and MSP is beneficial to you as well as the organisation for which you work.

PRLog - Jun. 6, 2014 - LONDON, U.K. -- MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) is the management of the interrelated projects and programmes by understanding the risks and benefits deeply and effectively. The certification course consists of three levels; foundation, practitioner and the advanced practitioner. Let us look into them deeply and understand what these courses teach as well as the exam structure of all of them.

•    MSP Foundation

To get this qualification, you need to pass the examination after taking the accredited training which will teach you about the basic terminology. It is a multiple choice question exam where you will have to answer 50 questions in 40 minutes. You need to score 30 marks to pass this closed book exam. Only after getting this qualification, you will be allowed to work as an informed team member of the MSP supported environment.

•    MSP Practitioner

This level will teach you the way you should apply MSP to the programmes in your organisation in the MSP supported environment. It will also teach you how to change the business according to the needs and requirements. To give the exam, you must clear the foundation level. It is 180-marks open book exam with objective marking style where 9 questions will be asked. You need to score 90 marks to pass the exam and you will get two and a half hours to finish it.

•    MSP Advanced Practitioner

This is the highest level in which you will be trained to apply MSP in the complex business environment and you must have cleared the practitioner level to apply for this exam. It is an open book essay based exam where you will be asked three questions of the total 75 marks. You need 38 marks to pass and you get two and a half hours to complete the test.

Now that you understand the levels of MSP training, you can decide if you should go for the training and take the certification course.
