ReproTech Ltd., to Build Wildfire and Earthquake-Resistant Storage Room in New Nevada Location

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - June 5, 2014 - PRLog -- ReproTech Ltd. has taken another step in ensuring safe storage options for clients’ reproductive specimens. This fall, doors will open on a new facility in Nevada that will contain a storage room that is both wildfire and earthquake-resistant. This location will be the third facility built by ReproTech that provides such a high level of protection against natural disasters. ReproTech remains the only organization that offers this kind of security for clients looking to utilize reproductive tissue storage.

The Nevada location includes a defensible space buffer that far exceeds requirements and will house a storage room that can withstand temperatures of 1200 degrees for 3 hours, and has the ability to withstand the area’s most common earthquakes. Additionally, it was purposely built on the east side of the Sierra Mountains in order to protect against earthquakes that may occur along the San Andreas Fault. This facility will join ReproTech’s Minnesota and Florida facilities as the only reproductive tissue storage centers in the country that have taken such heroic measures to protect client tissues from natural disasters. The Minnesota location has an F5 tornado storage shelter, and the Florida location has a Category 5 hurricane storage shelter and was built outside the 500 year flood plane.
