Jacobsen’s Books hosts local authors every Saturday from 9am-1pm during the Hillsboro Farmer’s Market. On June 21st authors will include Laurel Standley, Roselyn McFarland and Ted Mahar.
Ted has written a memoir for his wife Dulcy based on her beloved gardening column in the Oregonian which ran from 1989 until 2011. Gardening fans will be delighted to talk with Ted and get autographed books
Readers began asking for a collection of Dulcy’s writings soon after her death in 2011. Her husband, Ted sorted through hundreds of her columns fro ones to include in the book which was released in November 2013. "Back in the Garden With Dulcy” includes 150 of Dulcy’s most popular columns and over 80 photographs.
