Missy Givens Accepts Position as Financial Services Specialist for AgSouth Farm Credit

STATESBORO, Ga. - June 5, 2014 - PRLog -- DOUGLAS, GA. (June 2, 2014): AgSouth Farm Credit Related Services Manager Jimmy Dockery announced that Missy Givens has accepted a position as a financial services specialist with the Association.

Givens first came to work at AgSouth in 1995, where she was employed as a customer service representative. She left for a period of time to attend college on a softball scholarship with South Georgia College and to further her education at Valdosta State University. In April of 2006, she was hired as an assistant to both executive management and the crop insurance department. Givens recently received her Property & Casualty insurance license.

Missy and her family attend GracePointe Church. She is a member of the Douglas/Coffee County Recreation Board and is a softball coach with the department. Daughters Kali and Kenzi play in the league.

Theron Anderson, Director of AgSouth’s Secondary Mortgage Market and Financially Related Services, says, “AgSouth’s crop insurance department has grown tremendously over the past two years. Missy will focus on meeting the service needs of our current customers and creating new relationships within our territory.
