Innovations Unlimited ME celebrates 5 years of excellence

DOHA, Qatar - June 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Innovations Unlimited ME (IUME), the leading agency in the fields of event management and green technology solutions celebrates this month, 5 years of operations in Qatar and the region. To mark the occasion, IUME has organised an exciting staff and family event as a sign of appreciation and gratitude to its loyal and committed team.

Speaking of the occasion, Mr. Markus Jordan, Managing Partner leading the Events Division said: “Since its inception, IUME has been involved in high profile events that gained acclaim in the country. One of the main reasons behind our success is our deep passion to deliver quality projects tailoring each event to our clients’ unique desires in order to create outstanding experiences locally and regionally.”

On his behalf, Mr. Amr Belal, Managing Partner spearheading IUME’s Green Division said: “Our fifth anniversary is a celebration of a thrilling journey full of achievements which wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our highly professional team. We promise to carry on our mission consistently and to even higher levels in the years to come.”

The company started its journey with a dazzling light show, for the 2009 Qatar National Day celebrations, that portrayed the principles of identity, pride and solidarity. In the same year, the company has initiated its activity in renewable energy solutions with the first solar street lights installed at the Ras Laffan Industrial City.

As soon as a year later, IUME had started its regional expansion, opening an office in Bahrain with a dedicated team. Its participation in Project Qatar for the first time, the highly regarded trade, construction and environmental technologies exhibition, allowed the company to establish itself as an earnest player in the industry and was followed by its involvement in this event for three consecutive years.

During the 2011 Asian Football Cup, IUME was entrusted with the FanZone organisation at Aspire Park as well as setting stage for the largest lighting display on Doha’s West Bay to date. The entire skyline of Doha was lit with large-scale images all controlled wirelessly from a single point.

In December 2011, IUME in partnership with Grucci, orchestrated the first ever seen daytime fireworks display in the region that wowed Doha’s audience, as part of the exhibition of Chinese gunpowder artist Cai Guo-Qiang at the Arab Museum of Modern Art, Mathaf which was followed by a VIP Gala dinner.

Later in the year, IUME has contributed to the branding of Doha Tribeca Film Festival creating a unique ambiance with a state-of-the-art video mapping effects and image identity of the festival.

As one of a few event management agencies with a license for fireworks IUME lit up the sky at Katara during the Eid Al Fitr 2012 festivities. A multitude of colours in different formations synchronized with captivating music bedazzled the onlookers.

Equally thriving in two business divisions, the company has achieved big strides in the green technologies development, positioning itself as a leading provider of renewable energy solutions in Qatar and the region supporting the construction industry through knowledge sharing and the provision of cutting edge technologies.

In 2013, the company completed the first of a series of photovoltaic installations in Msheireb Downtown as part of 12 active renewable energy projects in Qatar.

Thanks to its diligent efforts and reliable solutions, IUME was contracted to complete the first solar sports facility project in Qatar, Al Sadd Multipurpose Hall, which will be the first facility to feature a photovoltaic system, in preparation to host the 2015 World Men’s Handball Championship.

Throughout the year 2013, IUME’s Events Division has organised the first Red Bull Flugtag Qatar at the Museum of Islamic Art Park, an unprecedented event that witnessed an imposing participation of over 25’000 spectators. Followed by co-orchestrating Qatar’s National Day Fireworks Celebration with ‘Fireworks by Grucci’, a partner that the company has also supported to achieve the world record in the largest fireworks display in the New Year Firework in Dubai.

With a continued commitment to capacity building, IUME has offered a permanent position in its events division to a young graduate who won the 1^st prize at the Eventice, a competition show similar to the Apprentice. The company is sponsoring a second position for the winner of the 2014 competition.

Through its journey to 2014, IUME has achieved a number of accolades among which the 2010 Qatar Today Green Awards for the design and implementation of solar street lights for Ras Gas; the 2012 Award of the Best Special Event for the “Black Ceremony and VIP Gala Dinner"; and runner up in the 2012 Live Design Awards, an international light award, for the Asian Football Cup light show. In 2013, IUME achieved triple ISO certifications, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the highest levels of quality. 2014 marked a substantial achievement where the company was nominated for 4 Middle East Event Awards: Best Design, Best Special Event, Best Temporary Structure, Best event on a budget.
