Edtech Startup Lingua.ly Launches New Web App,Expanding Language Learning Technology to Educational Institutions Worldwide

New WebApp turns websites,emails and Twitter feeds into an educational experience expected to catch the fancy of Indian industry

( New Delhi India/ Bala Cynwyd, PA – June 5, 2014) –Lingua.ly, a cross-platform solution that draws on a user’s environment and interests to create a personalized language learning experience, announced todaythe availability of theirWebApp, a new tool that helps individuals learn a language through the open web.The platform expands Lingua.ly’s services to schools and other educational institutions that are looking to provide innovative edtech offerings for language students and bilingual learners attending school in a second language.

Lingua.ly is a cloud-basedlanguage learning technology that provides learners with a free dictionary and learning platform to look up words in English, French, Spanish, Arabic or Hebrew.The new platformgoes beyond traditional translation and dictionary services andassesses skill level behind the scenes,recommending fresh content and practice exercises personalized for the individual. CET will be partnering with Lingua.ly to offer the WebApp technology to theirone million plus language learners in the country’s public school system by the start of the September 2014 academic year.
