On Saturday, June 21, Goodie Hack will host their next Idea Hackathon, sponsored by Google Plus, to continue their efforts for the social good of under-served communities.

“We're really looking forward to June's Goodie Hack, because we know that with just a few hours we can provide real impact for Atlanta's communities, by Atlanta's communities,” Hawkins said.

Awesome Foundation Atlanta will host their monthly Awesome Hour on Wednesday, June 18 where Goodie Hack will be recognized and given the $1,000 grant to continue their cause.

"I love what they are doing at Goodie Hack.  Their grant application resonated with our group because several of us have technology backgrounds," said Yasmin Smith, a chapter trustee.

Since launching last April, Awesome Atlanta has awarded three monthly grants and is gearing up for their summer break.  The chapter’s funding cycle is every month except July and December.  The window for the August application window will open July 1st.
