BEHAVIOUR® launches training on the new standard ISO 55001 – Asset Management

LISBON, Portugal - June 4, 2014 - PRLog -- BEHAVIOUR® released the new training and qualification programs on ISO 55001:2014 standard. These programs have three levels and are intended to all professionals who are waiting to acquire skills in the area of ​​asset management.

These courses, ISO 55001 Foundation, ISO 55001 Lead Implementer and ISO 55001 Lead Auditor, aim to provide and qualify professionals with the skills needed for implementation and audit of an Asset Management System in an organization.

Taking account of the specific requirements of this new ISO standard, which was published in January 2014, the qualification programs have their roots on best practices related to asset management, including PAS 55, they meet the requirements of ISO 55001:2014, use the support of the constant terminology of ISO 55000:2014, withdraw advantage of the best practices of ISO 55002:2014 and, consider the specific requirements of the recent ISO / IEC TS 17021-5:2014, launched to bridge the gaps in ISO/IEC 17021:2011 regarding to specific requirements for certification bodies wanting to audit and certify Asset Management Systems (including the requirements of competencies of auditors teams).

ISO 55001:2014 will enable organizations to better manage their portfolio of assets, tangible and intangible, in all phases of its life cycle, considering the associated risks and thus creating more value for the organization.

This is the standard that enables organizations to maximize the value of its assets. This is the management system that, integrated with other management systems already implemented in the organization, improves the effectiveness and efficiency in the management of its assets.

ISO 55001 courses are with guaranteed dates and therefore the public dates already scheduled are confirmed to occur, during working hours, at Behaviour in Lisbon-Portugal.

ISO 55001 Foundation course is confirmed for September 4, 2014; ISO 55001 Lead Auditor course is confirmed for November 24, 2014 and ISO 55001 Lead Implementer course is confirmed for January 5, 2015.
