ATLANTA - June 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Diego and Cruz are eight year old twins.  Their love of animals lead them to join forces with Animal Aid USA to get kids and families involved in saving 500 shelter animals from euthanasia.

By working with Animal Aid USA, it only costs $25. to save a shelter animal.  Diego said, "I save my allowance and use it to save animals. My friends, teachers and family are helping out too.  It shows that kids can make a difference." They understand that not everyone has the time to volunteer or may live in the area of rescue efforts so this is a simple way to help.  All of the animals saved are from high kill shelters and transported to waiting rescues, foster homes and waiting families.

"If we, as adults, would only learn to take more cues from children and animals, what a world we would live in.  These kids epitomize the innocence of youth speaking for the innocent voiceless," said Karen Talbot, Co Founder Animal Aid USA.

Cruz said, “Follow your heart.  This is an opportunity to save a life.”
