New Partnership for Africa’s Development Under the MOU, the two parties will support one another’s efforts in ensuring that Africa’s small and medium businesses have affordable access to the web and the Africa.com domain name, and to address the critical issue of youth unemployment across the African continent through the development of entrepreneurial opportunities in the technology sector. The MOU emphasizes both parties’ commitments to building local institutions. The partnership between the two parties is being forged as Africa.com, the world’s largest Africa-related website with over 3 million visitors per month from over 200 countries around the world, launches its domain name business. This business has two components. For the first time, small businesses will have the opportunity to build their online businesses on a domain that speaks to their pan-African identity.
