Sean McAleer of DeckRemodelers.com - featured as the WOLF DECKING PRO

SPARTA, N.J. - June 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Sean McAleer, owner of DeckRemodelers.com, located in Sparta, NJ was recently selected as the WOLF DECKING PRO. The selection acknowledges his aptitude for design, extraordinary experience and level of craftsmanship related to the latest options in outdoor living additions.

Deckremodelers.com Sean’s company has been the recipient of seven national awards, as well as many state-level awards in New Jersey. The 2014 national award presented at DeckExpo, in Chicago, was for a multi-level deck, featuring WOLF Amberwood Decking with a Rosewood border. The project features an L-shaped stone kitchen with an island. Also featured is a 12-foot turret on the edge of the property, 75-feet in the air with a fire feature center point.  The winning space is detailed with custom aluminum rails and blue stone inlays. “We’re in the middle of four projects now that we feel could also be contenders for a national award” Sean said, “One of the projects, features curved stairs using WOLF Decking. The stairs were a challenge, but the accomplishment is worth the effort. Talk about falling in love with a project; once I realized these stairs could be done, I knew we had to do it. The end result is amazing”.

When interviewed Sean, was taking a break from a personal project – adding a WOLF deck to his own home. His background multiples his experience.  Sean is a third-generation carpenter. He worked in his fathers cabinetmaker shop all though school. Before college, He began building houses. Later, because of the time commitments, it became easier to specialize in deck construction. Sean remembers at that time, the selection in deck materials was limited and not of a very high-quality. Because of that, he decided to explore the maintenance end of the deck business. His company was an immediate success ranking second or third nationally while employing 20 technicians.

Ultimately however, he was drawn back to the creative design aspect and began to focus again on deck construction. Six years ago, choosing to delegate management of the maintenance business allowed more time to devote to designing and building high-end decks. Today with all the colors and options,  deck design becomes a painter’s palette of creativity. There are so many possibilities given the new materials and technology. Sean enjoys meeting people collecting their thoughts and transforming the quality of their living space outdoors. “I plan a unique solution to the outdoor addition that they dream of, build the design, and when I stand with my customers at the end of the project, I enjoy the wow expression that I see” he said.

Sean is excited to say that at DeckRemodelers.com the projects have been bigger with more add-ons and details. We’re including outdoor kitchens on almost every deck. In past years, the outdoor kitchen was often something that people wanted, but weren’t in a position to add. Now, customers are ready; they look for unique features to add-on. We are almost always upgrading natural materials to maintenance free materials, especially PVC decking. Most people do not have the time or focus for the upkeep associated with wood. For every 100 decks we install today, 90 are built with WOLF Decking.
