The partnership with UNIT4 will enhance Crimson’s already strong presence in both HE and FE sectors with its education-focused CRM solution Crimson Dynamics and unique implementation methodology, Crimson Fusion.
A Microsoft Partner, Crimson has considerable experience in the education sector and has worked with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, on which the Crimson solution is based, since its inception in 2002. Crimson Dynamics delivers education-specific functionality via its range of Accelerators - pre-packaged applets which deliver specific functionality required by all education institutions, but not available in Microsoft Dynamics CRM as standard.
UNIT4 provides CRM functionality as part of its platform solution for education in two main areas, Student and Business Engagement. Microsoft Dynamics CRM supplemented by Crimson’s Accelerators and Crimson Fusion implementation process will form the basis of the UNIT4 solution, henceforth to be known as UNIT4 CRM-powered by Crimson Dynamics.
As part of the agreement nine of UNIT4’s staff will transfer to Crimson under a TUPE agreement.

This announcement is in line with the UNIT4 strategy of using expert partners for specialist areas of functionality which supplement the core UNIT4 ERP solution Agresso Business World.
