Retail Realm launches new Healthcare Business Unit as it signs Agreement with eCareSoft In

NAPA, Calif. - June 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Retail Realm (www.rrdisti.com), the successful Retail Sector software solutions distributioncompany, is proud to announce the formation of its new Healthcare Business Unit following signature of a Heads of Agreement with Austin, Texas based eCareSoft Inc (www.ecaresoft.com).

According to Retail Realm Chairman, Afshin Alikhani: “We had been searching, for some time, for other markets into which the company could diversify; looking for a sector where it would be possible to replicate the successful business model the company already has in Retail, whilst leveraging the existing skill set and infrastructure we have set up in key locations around the world (with a minimum of tweaking in the adaptation).  We earmarked Healthcare as a possibility around 4 years ago but it was not until we came across eCareSoft, its product offering and formidable Chairman, Jorge Camargo Boj, that we realized we had found the match we were looking for.”

eCareSoft Inc has developed and markets a suite of software products for the management of Hospitals/Clinics and Doctors’ Practices (with a version aimed at Dental Practices currently in the pipeline).  Covering the entire gamut of requirements any medical facility will have - from appointment scheduling, patient records (certified HIPPA/confidentiality compliant by the U.S. government), e-prescribing, through coding, billing and more - eCareSoft’s product portfolio provides management with the tools and business intelligence it needs to ensure a) the smooth running of a facility and, b) accuracy and speed in the billing process which, naturally, impacts the bottom line.  Perhaps the most important element for consideration, however, is the fact that eCareSoft’s solutions are, in the main, SaaS – Software as a Service – solutions meaning that application, database management, security, upgrades, customization etc are all taken care of off-premises. Huge savings can be made on the vast expenditure, which is usually the norm, on IT support/departments in most traditional healthcare settings.

Retail Realm’s Healthcare Business Unit will work with eCareSoft Inc to create a distribution channel on a worldwide basis. The target market in developed countries is most likely to be smaller hospitals and medical practices.  In developing countries, on the other hand, it is likely that the products will be offered to larger infrastructures, even at government level.  Retail Realm’s first task will be to recruit resellers worldwide - in EMEA, Latin America, North America and APAC.
