Route 44 Autogroup to Honor Veterans with Charitable Contributions & Barbeque

RAYNHAM, Mass. - June 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Route 44 Hyundai & Route 44 Toyota announced that through collaborative efforts they will be hosting a Veterans Appreciation Barbeque on June 22, 2014 at its Route 44 Hyundai location.  Throughout the month of May Route 44 Autogroup teamed up with Homes for Our Troops to Honor Service Members not just on Memorial Day Weekend, but All Month Long. Homes for Our Troops is a privately funded national non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious  injuries since September 11, 2001. They assist severely injured Veterans and their families by raising awareness, community involvement, money, building materials and professional labor, and by coordinating the process to build a specially adapted home.

Route 44 Hyundai & Route 44 Toyota worked to develop both a sense of awareness, as well as raise funds for Homes for Our Troops by donating a percentage of Sales and Service Funds. For every customer who purchased a New or Used Hyundai & Toyota in the month of May $10 was donated. For every Retail Service Customer who visited the service center at either the Route 44 Hyundai or Route 44 Toyota dealership $1 was donated. On top of charitable donations Service Members & their families who presented a Military ID received a 10% discount on Service. Eligible Military personal were also able to take advantage of the $500 Year Long Military rebate programs available at both Route 44 Hyundai and Route 44 Toyota Dealers.

During the June 22 Veterans Appreciation Barbeque Route 44 Autogroup invites not only Service Members Past and Present, but the general public to join them from 1:00 pm – 2:00pm. At 2:00 pm Route 44 Hyundai & Route 44 Toyota will unveil the total amount raised to Homes for Our Troops, as well as draw raffle prizes for Auto Details, Gift-Cards, and More. WCTK-Cat Country-98.1 FM will also be in attendance,completely outfitted with their station van, sound system, & assorted prizes.
