The original vision of Lake Lanier Islands’ Chairman of the Board, Virgil Williams, Legacy on Lanier Magazine was launched in 2008 to outline the wealth of accommodations, amenities and activities at the Southern lakeside destination, as well as illustrate its ongoing transformation following the purchase of the resort’s lease by Islands Management Corporation. Williams feels comfortable in the role of publisher, a skill he honed during his previous ownership of the highly revered Georgia Trend Magazine.
