Follow on Google News | Jamie Hector and Friends to Host an Inspirational Night benefitting NYC’s YouthBy: Moving Mountains Celebrated actor, author and philanthropist Harper, will be honored for his exemplary work through The Manifest Your Destiny Foundation, a non-profit organization he founded, dedicated to providing underserved youth a path to empowerment and educational excellence through mentoring, academic enrichment, college access skills attainment and the facilitation of psychosocial and physical development strategies. Fellow honoree A. R. Bernard is the Founder, Senior Pastor and CEO of Christian Cultural Center (CCC), a ministry located in Brooklyn, with a membership of over 33,000. CCC is one of the largest independent churches in the tri-state area, exemplifying a new paradigm in the worship experience. Bernard remains a highly sought after speaker, teacher and community leader, who addresses religious organizations, businessmen and political dignitaries. Sarah Hasted, one of the owners of Hasted Kraeutler Gallery, a contemporary art gallery founded in 2005, will be recognized for her work in the community. Hasted Kraeutler is committed to the representation of established artists from around the world, working in all mediums. She is involved in New York’s professional, institutional and academic photography communities, teaching at Parsons The New School for Design since 2003. Previous honorees include Harlem Children Zone’s Geoffrey Canada, actor/musician Bryan Greenberg, NFL Hall of Famer Curtis Martin, and actor Michael Kenneth Williams. Special invited guests are actors Anthony Mackie, Wendell Pierce, Sonja Sohn, Isiah Whitlock, Grizz Chapman, Michael Kostroff, and Domenick Lombardozzi, along with entertainment executive Mona Scott-Young, Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson, and author/entrepreneur Terrie Williams.
